Focus on an issue

1. Identify conversations about issues in your topic

  • Think about the both sides
  • Recurring voices in sources, central concepts that repeated
  • Look for the patterns in the information, ideas, and arguments 

2. Assess your interest in the issues

  • Determine your personal interest in each issue 
  • Identify personal connections between your sources and interests

3. Choose an issue
